Reach the desk
Contact Humva
Corrections first, then everything else. The form below reaches the people who write these pages.
Corrections come first
If a figure on Humva's editorial desk is wrong, that is the most useful message the desk can receive, and it sits at the top of this page rather than under the commercial enquiries for that reason.
- Name the page and the specific sentence. A correction that quotes the claim gets fixed faster than one that names the page.
- A link to the source that disagrees is ideal, and not required.
Prices are re-read quarterly anyway, and a vendor page always wins against a page here. A correction just makes that happen sooner than the next scheduled read.
Send a message
Nothing on this form is required. A required field on a correction form loses corrections, which is a worse outcome than an incomplete message.
What happens next
Messages are read by the people who write the pages. A correction usually produces a page edit rather than a reply, and if you want a reply, say so.
Expect a few days rather than a few hours. This is a small desk and the honest promise is the one it can keep, which is why there is no chat widget on this site pretending otherwise.
- Nothing sent here is used for marketing.
- There is no newsletter signup hidden in the form and no list your address is added to, because the form exists to receive corrections rather than to collect contacts.
- The privacy page carries the full account of what the form stores and for how long.
- That list is generated from the form's own field definitions rather than typed, so it cannot drift from what is actually collected.
If you would rather not use a form at all, a correction posted publicly anywhere the desk can read it works just as well. The point is that the page gets fixed, not that the message arrives by a particular route.
- Corrections are actioned before commercial enquiries, every time.
- A pitch that has clearly not read the placement page goes to the back of the queue.
If the form does not work
You will be told. This form does not show a success screen for a message it failed to send, which is a design decision rather than an accident: a false success is the worst possible outcome for a correction.
If it reports a failure, wait a minute and try again. Sending twice is not a problem at this end.
- The form works without JavaScript, so a blocked script is not the cause.
- Repeated submissions from one address are rate limited, which is the one case where trying again immediately will not help.
Placements and advertising
Placement pitches are welcome and have their own page, which sets out what gets accepted and what does not before you write anything. Reading it first saves both sides a round trip.
- Guest placements: the pitch page.
- Other advertising: the advertising page.
What this desk cannot help with
One category of message arrives here and should not, and it is worth saying plainly so nobody waits on an answer that is not coming.
Anything about your account with HeyGen, Synthesia or D-ID goes to that vendor. This site has no relationship with any of them, no access to your account, and no ability to change a charge, a plan or a render.
- Billing disputes, refunds, failed renders and content-policy refusals are all real problems this desk cannot touch.
- A message about one only delays the support ticket that could actually fix it.
- What this desk cannot do: reach anyone at a vendor, on any subject.
- What it can do: correct a page that told you something wrong about that vendor, which is the version of the problem it is actually responsible for.
