The short answer
There are no posts yet. This section exists to record what changes on the rest of the site: a price that moved, a crawl that returned something different, or a correction and the reasoning behind it. It fills when something happens, not on a schedule.
What this section is for
Working notes. When a vendor changes a published price, when a crawl turns up something worth recording, or when a page here is corrected, the reasoning goes in this section rather than disappearing into a diff.
It is not a content-marketing blog. The desk behind this site already publishes its long-form work on the four desks, and adding a parallel stream of shorter pieces about the same subjects would dilute both.
What gets written here
Three kinds of note, all of them tied to something that actually changed rather than to a publishing schedule.
- A price change. Every price table on this site carries the date it was last read, and prices are re-read quarterly. When a figure moves, what moved and by how much gets recorded.
- A crawl result. Several pages here rest on measurements of a search result: who owns the ranking pages, how long they are, which of them refuse a crawler. Those change.
- A correction. With the reasoning, because a correction without one teaches nobody anything.
What a price-change note will look like
The vendor, the figure before and after, the date each was read, and what it does to the derived cost per finished minute on the affected page.
That is a short note by design. The value is in the record existing at all, because a table that silently changes leaves a reader no way to tell whether the desk noticed or the vendor moved.
- Two of the three vendors priced here changed a published figure within the last year.
- One of them is currently advertising that fact on its own pricing page, which is the cheerful version of the same event.
- A note here is the version a reader can check against the date on the table.

How this was scored. Ordered by how often the trigger is expected to fire rather than by importance, with each row stating the check that produces the note. What was measured, and when.
What one of these notes looks like
2026-08-25, Synthesia. The vendor's annual price for one plan reads one figure in its plan table and a higher one in its own FAQ, both read the same day. The table figure is the one this site prices from, and both are printed on the Synthesia pricing page rather than resolved silently.
What does not get written here
Anything that exists to have published something. No news roundups of announcements this desk has no view on, no restatements of a vendor's press release, and no posts about the category in general.
- If a change matters, it changes a page and produces a note about what changed.
- If it does not matter, nothing happens, which is the correct amount of activity.
Why there is no post list yet
Because there are no posts yet, and an empty blog dressed as a full one is the least credible thing a new publication can ship.
- Three thin posts published on launch day to make a section look busy would undercut every page on this site that refuses to pad.
- The section fills when something worth recording actually happens.
In the meantime the guides desk carries the long-form work, and the pricing and comparison desks carry the tables the notes will eventually be about.

The guides. They are the long-form work this desk has actually published, and they are linked here because they are the honest answer to what a reader arriving at a blog is looking for.

If you were expecting an archive, that is a reasonable expectation and this section will eventually meet it. What it will not do is meet it early by publishing filler, because the whole argument of this site is that most of what ranks in this category is filler with a byline.
